sea-anchors are built or perform the same, don't believe it!

Don't be fooled by color! Para Tech builds a yellow canopy to look just like ours---but it's not the same! Both companies build their parachute anchors differently. We want you to have the information you need to decide which anchor is best for you. All our parachute anchors offer our patented stainless Para-Ring® and swivel as seen below. It's a major difference that makes our parachute anchors efficient and effective.

This is an original YELLOW Coastal model by
Fiorentino -- as seen for on FOX Sportfishing Television. Built with 8 oz., "first grade" materials.

TRUE CLOSE-UP:
This is an original WHITE Para-Tech sea anchor. Today, the company has chosen to build a yellow canopoy but don't be fooled to look like our instead--but it's not. Made from 2-4 oz nylon and "second grade" materials.

TRUE CLOSE-UP:
Fiorentino attaches commercial fishing shroud lines (round braid) to a stainless Para-Ring® and swivel. This helps elliminate tangles and provides a longer lasting device.

TRUE CLOSE-UP:
Para-Tech attaches a galvanized shackle to
flat webbed shroud lines. There may be an additional charge for a swivel. Fiorentino's research demonstrates that traditional shackle arrangements can be vulnerable to tangles.
